Mobil ASK is a leading player in mobile phone after-sales services in the CEE region. Its main activity is the warranty repair of mobile phones for handset manufacturers, as well as out-of-warranty repair services for retail clients. As a result of acquisitions in 2003-2004, Mobil ASK is market leader in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia in the mobile repair industry, having successfully set the Company on a track of regional expansion and improving financial performance.

Mobil ASK started its mobile phone repair operations in Hungary in 1999 as the sole repair partner - at that time - of Nokia in Hungary. The same year, Mobil ASK began the roll-out of a walk-in network - Club Nokia Service Points - which currently counts 23 units and covers all major towns of Hungary. In 2000, private equity funds managed by 3TS acquired a 49% stake in the Company through a share purchase and capital increase. In 2002, the same investors provided additional funding in the form of a convertible loan to finance further growth. By 2003, the Hungarian mobile phone market had approached saturation, and the Company started analysing international expansion opportunities to leverage on its know-how and operational excellence as well as to exploit greater operational efficiency through increased scale. Mobil ASK established operations in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia in 2003, and later - following a third round of financing by the same funds - acquired leading local businesses in both countries. As a result, Mobil ASK has become the market leading repair operator in the region.

MobilASK's repair services cover Nokia and Samsung mobile handsets. The Group employs appr.220 people in the region, and carries out 25-30K repairs/month.

Mobil ASK manages the full range of repair services including Level 4 repairs for Nokia in all three countries, and has started working cross-border for the Romanian and Bulgarian operators in 2008. In addition, in the Czech Republic the Company provides L1-L3 repair services for Samsung.

Repair services are supported by customised, high-quality logistics operations covering all three countries.

Mobil ASK supports the Nokia walk-in network in Hungary, and three Nokia outlets in Slovakia. We provide continuous training for the personnel in these walk-ins, and also for technicians sent to us for higher level trainings from other countries, such as Romania, Greece, Serbia, and Cyprus.

As a result of the acquisitions, Mobil ASK has become clearly the leading mobile handset after-sales company in the CEE region with approx. 300,000 warranty and out-of-warranty repairs in 2007 originating from the 5 countries of the region, Czech Rep., Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.
